Quality Engineer (m/f/d) (359956/001) Stuttgart, Germany
As Quality Engineer (m/f/d) you will work within our clients organization of Software Test, Validation and Release. In this function you will work closely together with the SW R&D team of our client, a global manufacturer of automated test equipment’s (ATE), located in the area around Stuttgart.
Your Tasks:
- You are responsible for the deployment of quality and problem solving methods
- Coaching of the engineering team in your area of expertise
- Root Cause Analysis for SW defects
- Integration of customer related reports
- Trainings for software developers regarding methods to improve the design quality upfront
- Responsible for the moderation of ‘3x5 why’ root cause analysis, integrating ‘8d reports’ and leading ‘FMEA’ reviews will be key elements of your daily work
Your Skills:
- You have a Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, Business Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) with strong technical experience
- Analytical skills to drive corrective actions based on KPI’s
- QA methods (e.g. 3x5 Why, FMEA, 8D, …)
- HW background
- Deployment of quality methods
- Industrial background
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English language – German language skills are nice to have
