Freelance Senior DevOps Engineer - Berlin - 6 Months

Our Berlin-based partner program are urgently seeking a freelance DevOps/Linux Engineer for a critical project beginning immediately.
Start - ASAP
Until - February 2020
The ideal Linux Engineer will be the driving force behind running and maintaining a new, on-premises data centre implemented by our client

DevOps Engineer candidate profile:
(Essential)

• Deep Linux Engineering/Administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes setup for Data Centre
• Demonstrated commercial experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines with Jenkins
• Fluent German Comms

(Desirable)

• Experience with ELK Stack
• Experience with Icinga2
• Background in networking

Project Responsibilities:

• New data centre set-up, running and maintenance (Services running on top of Vmware esxi, Kubernetes, Docker and OpenNebula)
• Provisioning, Rollout, Maintenance by means of Ansible scripts on Linux Debian
• Provide base software tools for CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
• Writing Roles, Configuration, Virtualization, Containers
• Running & Configuring Kubernetes
