YOUR TEAM

For the department Systems Performance & Perception we are looking for an intern / working student for the development of Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS). As a student employee, you will work on very specific tasks and projects in your specialist department. However, in order for you to gain a great deal of practical experience, we do not plan to have you write a thesis during your time as a student employee. For this purpose, we offer special internships for writing a thesis.

In the area of ADAS core functions Lane Assist, Travel Assist, Front Assist and Emergency Assist, you will tackle exciting tasks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analysis and evaluation of sensor and perception performance from a functional point of view
  • Support in the further development of a framework for the visualization of customer function-specific data sources
  • Support the integration of the framework into the test vehicles
  • Development and programming of algorithms for testing vehicle sensors
  • Work with validation teams to evaluate tests for system interfaces and interactions

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student (or bachelor's graduate starting master's program as soon as possible) in automotive engineering, technical computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable technical course of study
  • Good programming skills in C/C++ and familiar with GUI programming in Qt.
  • Knowledge of Python, XML, Microsoft Visual Studio and Cmake
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Matlab/Simulink or ADTF
  • Communication skills with proficient German and good English language skills
