Job Description YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Acquire and maintain facilities and equipment for effective and efficient functioning of WOSR (winter oilseed rape) programs operations * Be engaged on the continuous process improvements on the Breeding station including the implementation of new technologies according to Phenotyping strategy * Drive the overall vision and goals of the site and ensure the site is focused where needed to be successful by managing priorities * Manage the annual Operating and Capital budgets * Responsible for permanent and temporary staff hiring, supervision, workload compliance, training and development * Responsible for implementation of HSE procedures for safe operation of the testing program and the research station * Coordinate planting, plot management, data collection and harvest operations of WOSR yield trials following the testing strategy and accordingly to the Breeders' priorities * Maintain knowledge of technical advances to increase the efficiency and quality of research station by interfacing with appropriate equipment and supply providers * Develop standards of operation, maintenance and calibration * Maintain a strong connection with the Breeding teams and collaborate closely in innovative projects WHO YOU ARE * MS or PhD in Plant Breeding, Agricultural science or Pathology * Experience in Plant Physiology * Strong background in agronomy, field plot technique, WOSR evaluation and characterization and statistical analysis * Experience in conducting plant pathology assays * Computer proficiency (MS office), ability to work with large data sets * Results orientation, strong initiative, excellent communication & relationship skills * Experience in leading crop science operations and teams with organizational excellence * Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken Please provide your documents in English. #LI-DE Your application Are you looking for a new challenge where you can show your passion for innovation?
