PhD student (m/f/d) in Tumor Immunology

Our lab studies mechanisms of innate and adaptive immune signaling pathways and their alterations in malignant and inflammatory disorders (
). We established a series of novel model systems to dissect the molecular basis of immune regulation and malignant lymphomas and to develop novel therapeutic strategies that target the immune system in cancer. Our international research group is broadly embedded in the Munich biomedical research community, supported by several Collaborative Research Centres including the CRC 1335 “Aberrant Immune Signals in Cancer” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) as well as an ERC Advanced Grant and recently the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize from the DFG.

Your profile

  • You are a highly motivated scientist and committed to scientific excellence.
  • You hold a MSc or equivalent degree with a solid background in immunology and molecular/cell biology.
  • Experience with molecular biology, immunological and in vitro / in vivo techniques is a plus.
