Global leading Client is currently recruiting for a Data Engineer who has hands on experience with Python scripting language, data processing and cloud computing platforms (AWS). Based in Herzogenaurach, 6 month rolling contract paying up to 500 Euros per day.

Experience and skills needed for a Data Engineer who has hands on experience with Python scripting language, data processing and cloud computing platforms (AWS).

Must Haves:

• Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas
• Experience with data processing, warehousing technologies such as Spark-Scala, Hive
• Experience with SQL and data modelling
• Experience with file formats (e.g. Parquet; json)
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, we use AWS (S3, EMR

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Jenkins pipeline and CI&CD automation
• Knowledge about agile software processes
• Experience with Bit-bucket
