Job Description Essential Responsibilities * Prepare and create competitive commercial proposals including terms sheets, draft contracts, schedules and internal cost calculations, following sales opportunities through from the initial customer request for quotation to contract closure * Lead virtual project teams and coordinate proposal development with Sales, Risk Management, Legal, Commercial Finance, GPO, Logistics, Insurance, Service, Product Line and other functions to maximize the customer value and meet the business goals * Present proposal summaries including a commercial risk and mitigation plan to Risk Management and obtain proper approval for the critical items of each transaction * Provide customers with proposals in due form and time, in German and/or English language * Lead project specific customer negotiations in German or English language and take responsibility for drafting the customer-facing contract documents in close coordination with the Technical Leader, the Sales Manager and the other business functions * Manage advance releases/ full commercial releases of signed contracts/ booked orders to Project Management * Proactively contribute to the lessons learnt process in order to simplify the internal processes and optimize the customer value Business trips in Central Europe are to be foreseen regularly. Role Summary/Purpose You will be working as a Commercial Leader in the GE Renewable Energy Onshore Wind Commercial Operations Team Central Europe on a wide range of transactions with special focus on customers with projects in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Qualifications/Requirements * Proven success in working with customers * Previous experience in negotiating terms & conditions and project specific multi-million Euro contracts (e. G. Turbine Sale Agreements, O&M contracts) * Experience in commercial processes, preferably the GE R process * Process driven and creative/ flexible at the same time * Excellent Guaranteed? NO Payment Frequency Annual Payroll - Legal Entity GE Wind Energy GmbH Bonus Target Information - Country Germany Bonus Target Information - IFG GE Renewable Energy communication skills and confidence with customer/ executive level presentations * Willingness to work intensively during negotiation periods and to travel regularly * Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously * Proven leadership skills in virtual project teams * Demonstrated ability to drive and own cross-functional activities and initiatives * Highly committed to teamwork * Commercial and/or engineering degree (master or bachelor) * Experience in Renewable Energy industry * Fluent in verbal and written German and English Desired Characteristics * Previous experience in Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Product Management, Application Engineering, Service or other customer-related business function * Fluent in an additional European language, e.
