Manager (m/f/d) Transportation Supply Chain Operations

What you may expect

• Act as interface between Group companies, providing an international knowledge exchange platform
• Harmonize transportation concepts (inbound and outbound), e.g. select transport partners and optimize the collaboration with freight
• Continuously improve transportation processes (together with internal warehouse processes)
• Provide KPI management and benchmarking
• Provide project management and leadership of international projects
• Visit exhibitions, logistics partners and, if required, suppliers and customers worldwide

What distinguishes you

• Bachelor's dregree in Economics and/or Logistics
• Understanding and knowledge of pallet transportation networks and mainly package distribution models in Europe
• Understanding of import freight processes per ocean from Asia and last mile complexity as well as chemical impact to transport
• Customs experience
• Understanding of TMS
• Fluency in English, further language skills advantageous
• Project management and strong communication skills
