Data Engineer (m/f/d) for global strategy

Develop with 50 data experts data streams that have global reach. Juggle data that is generated worldwide. Be the driving force in AI across the industry. Travel to Singapore and New York to present your findings.

Your tasks:
  • As a data engineer for global strategy, you develop new concepts for the insurance industry together with data scientists and data analysts.
  • You work on data-driven solutions and building data ingestion and machine-learning pipelines.
  • You focus on automation and dev-ops principles to develop scaleable and production-ready solutions in cloud-native big data architecture.
  • You have customer needs in mind and use the data to increase customer benefits.
  • You build ETL pipelines within cloud architectures.
  • You help to build scaleable predictive and deep learning models.
  • You work with Python, Microsoft Azure, Microservices, Docker, AWS and GPC.
  • There is an option to develop into a team lead.

Your profile:
  • Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or comparable.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a data engineer.
  • Very good knowledge of Python as well as SQL.
  • Experience with cloud solutions.
  • Enjoying it and having the skills to explain complex issues to people who are not experts in the field.
  • Willing to travel to New York or Singapore up to 4 times a year for a week and presenting results to top management.
  • A plus: Experience in leading teams.
