Rate: £/€ 750+per day

Working with an international banking client as an IT Operations Director, you will use both your management/leadership skills alongside data centre engineering responsibilities. This role is split between London and Frankfurt.

This hybrid role (50/50) means you will be the central point of contact and will be accountable for all IT activities.
 

IT Operations Director role responsibilities:

• Supporting the business to deliver their IT requirements within the global IT governance structure
• Building & maintaining relationships with senior management across the region and representing IT in regional management forums / committees. Representing regional IT in global IT management forums / committees.
• Escalating regional issues to regional CIO or global IT head(s) as appropriate

 
 

Detailed IT Operations Director experience required:

• Able to complete engineering, architecture and design work, evaluate products, create proposals, conduct testing, write documentation and implement resilient solutions that meet the Banks standards
• Detailed knowledge of:

Virtualization platforms (ESXi 6.X+)
Windows Servers
Active Directory
Citrix
 

Beneficial skills but not essential:

• Working knowledge of ITIL
