In this position, you will have the responsibility, to manage the FTMS R&D group, to perform research and development towards new and improved FTMS products. Specifically, your tasks will include:

+ Manage the FTMS R&D Group + Initiate and manage new and further developments in the field of FT-ICR mass spectrometry + Examine and assess improvement possibilities for FT-ICR mass spectrometry + Development of new technologies to improve the FTMS performance and versatility + Integration of supporting technologies or equipment, e. G. new ion sources and mass filters + Management of collaboration on R&D projects + Writing patent applications upon development of innovative technologies or methods + Writing publications on results, methods and patent-applied developments, when appropriate + University/ FH diploma or PhD (physics, chemistry or corresponding engineering disciplines) + Minimum 7 years od work experience in a similar role in an international organization + Solid knowledge and experience in Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance spectrometry + Solid knowledge in ion physics, magnetic fields and ion chemistry + General knowledge of fine mechanic construction and electronics is of advantage + General knowledge also in non-Ft mass spectrometry is of advantage + Analytical, logical and innovative thinking + Good communication and leadership skills + Good knowledge of MS office + Excellent knowledge of English, incl. solid scientific and business English language skills ID:
