Global Inventory Manager

Your role and tasks in the company:

Atotech’s primary fulfilment model around the globe for Chemistry Customers is ‘make to stock’, to ensure that short delivery lead times can be fulfilled. As a result, the planning and management of this inventory is critical to ensure that customers are serviced and that ‘working capital’ is optimized around the group.

In the role of the Global Inventory Manager you will join the Operations and Supply Chain group. The primary responsibility for this role is analyze, understand and drive improvement actions around the group, to ensure that we have:

• The right inventory at the right place at the right time
• Drives actions to ensure that we minimize risk of obsolescence
• Provides management information on inventory trends and risks
• Supports activities such as implementation of consignment stocks and warehouses
• Works closely with the regional Operations directors to ensure that we have cross regional co-operation in all aspects of inventory
• Own and implement the S&OP process

Qualification:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or similar qualification
• Experience in either supply chain or finance, or ideally both
• General chemical understanding
• Experience in SAP and Business Warehouse would be preferable
• Leadership experiences
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Strong analytical competence, goal orientation, structured working method, Personal initiative, appropriate appearance, independence, ability to work under pressure and the willingness to travel abroad
