YOUR TEAM
Our department Product- and Portfolio Management is responsible for managing all of CARIAD's products over their lifetime. Your division takes care of the product strategy, best user experience, requirements of the customer product portfolio for the new digital ecosystem of software enabled cars of the Volkswagen group, inside and outside the vehicle. We act as entrepreneurs and business owners to secure state of the art customer functions, competitiveness and profitability. Our goal is the preservation of a unified architecture base and cross-platform strategy.WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Definition, planning, control and tracking of all functional, software and service-related technical, cost, budget, deadline and quality goals (product content, product costs) across brands and regions, imputed product result, return on investment, deadlines, legal requirements and
- Definition and design of the functional portfolio of the E³ 1.1 while taking into account changing customer needs and ensure the approval of a strategic direction for customer
- Define the product portfolio and roadmaps in close alignment with brands brands (e.g. Volkswagen Passenger Cars, AUDI AG, Porsche AG)
- Act as the counterpart for the Volkswagen Group, brands and further departments to streamline requirements of customer functions
- Enable the organization to achieve its goals in terms of resources, timing, budget and ideally coordinate these activities in an agile way
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in the area of business management, (business) engineering, or similar field with more than 8+ years of professional experience
- You know how to harmonize different requirements in a successful way across corporate units and also in international contexts. You possess strong intercultural skills to manage multiple stakeholders worldwide
- Well familiar with all relevant development and decision making processes of Volkswagen Group entities
- Passion for the tech industry and transformation as well as profound cross-industrial understanding of trends, technology and mobility market
- Innovative, bold and open mindset to permanently challenge and readjust our cutting-edge strategy and software stack
- Excellent communication skills in English. Desirable German skills; any other language is welcome
