Associate Director HR Business Partner

I currently have an exciting opportunity for a permanent HR Business Partner to work with a Global Biotech Company. They have a focus on a number of therapeutic areas including oncology, ophthalmology, allergic and inflammatory diseases, cardiovascular disease, hematologic diseases, infectious diseases and rare diseases.
The purpose of this role will be to partner with the Senior Director International HRBP to identify and plan the key HR work for the region’s business functions. Including in terms of employee relations and development, leadership, benefits and succession planning.
Job responsibilities include:
Acting as a subject matter expert with European employment advising US businesses and leaders.
Providing coaching and demonstrating to employees and managers the business’ cultural values. Partnering with stakeholders to develop and execute cultural awareness training alongside their global expansion.
Translating the international business needs to the remainder of the HR team from the Senior Director, International HR Business Partner.
Working with the Senior Director HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition to review business plans, identify current and future talent capability and needs, clarifying technical skill and behavior. Whilst being a part of the interviewing process and being part of making the best hiring decisions.
Implementing annual pay for performance and other reward and recognition programs, as well as revising and communicating career ladders.
Helping with onboarding of leaders, managers and staff.
Using survey data to help and develop action plans that support the business and people needs.
Partnering with teams to define new roles and identify comparable/market value or positions.
Candidate requirements include:
Fluent in German with business proficiency in English.
Experience in supporting/working directly in a Pan European HR role with multi country responsibility.
10 years’ of HR experience, with some years of working in a pharma/biopharma/biotech industry in a HR/management role
Relevant degree in a scientific or HR related discipline.
Significant understanding of European HR legal & compliance requirements.
Learning agile and be comfortable with a variety of technology, systems and data.
