RESPONSIBILITIES

Within our unit Global Supply Chain Excellence you will help enhancing the global supply chain performance of BASFs Agricultural Solutions segment.

• You will be responsible for the development and deployment of digital solutions to increase the transparency on our supply chains.
• In addition, you will be responsible for extending our data with additional sources of information when needed and enhancing data collection procedures by data mining, using state-of-the-art methods.
• You will process, cleanse and verify the integrity of data, do ad-hoc analysis and present the results in a clear manner.
• In your daily work you will create automated analyses, dashboards and reports and detect outliers and anomalies in the data.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have successfully completed your studies in (Business) Informatics and have a sound knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• In addition, you have a good understanding of databases, data visualization tools such as Tableau and common Data Science Toolkits.
• You have gained experience in scripting, programming and applied statistics.
• You will use your excellent communication skills effectively in both German and English and will always keep an eye on your customers' needs.
