Client-side Project Manager with an Engineering background, who is Fluent in English & German, sort to join the construction & engineering division of a datacentre solutions provider. You will be joining the business as they enter a period of expansion of their global portfolio, driven by the every increasing digital economy, providing opportunities for you to progress your career on an international front while also developing your technical & management expertise in a sector at the technical edge of the built environment.
Joining as an Engineering biased Project Manager you will undertake leadership of projects across their Frankfurt datacentre campus, incorporating new build facilities and the development / improvement of their existing datacentre’s. Working closely within their clients, local supply chain and internal engineering & construction team you will take ownership of all projects across their Frankfurt portfolio, including the re-development of their flagship facility in Germany, with duties to include;
- Appointment and management of a local supply chain you will ensure successful technical, time & commercial delivery,
- Develop and implement project plans for a range of developments,
- Working hand in hand with the internal engineering team to understand & develop client’s specifications,
- Report upstream on the progress of projects,
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful handover of completed facilities,
- Holds a degree or diploma in a related engineering subject,
- Experienced in the management and delivery of complex projects within a critical facilities environment,
- Technical knowledge incorporating critical systems such as UPS systems, MV / HV distribution, BMS systems etc.
