Ihre Aufgaben

The Global head of Procurement Strategy and Management is a strategic position that will lead a specialized team which will support the development and implementation of a robust Global Procurement strategy and risk management for all aspects of Supplier interaction such as Supplier innovation and engagement during New Product Introductions (NPI), Category management, Supplier relationship management, Operational Procurement etc. which maximises business performance for the organization and deliver on CMSO ("Chief Manufacturing & Supply Organization") goals and objectives e.g. cost savings, supply sustainability etc.

• Lead members of Procurement Risk and Management team to support the development and implementation of Global Procurement Strategy and Risk in alignment with CMSO ("Chief Manufacturing & Supply Organization") strategy and increase supply chain resilience and business continuity
• • Identify innovations in procurement through external market scan, define high-level roadmap towards major Procurement innovation, closely aligned to overall CMSO ("Chief Manufacturing & Supply Organization") strategy
• Conduct Procurement risk identification, benchmarking, and assessment
• Purpose supply risk management concepts and structures in strong collaboration with corporate risk management
• Support the governance of Make vs. Buy process in alignment with CMSO strategy
• Make an ESG strategy, annual policy, and goal setting for Procurement in accordance with company policy.
• Support the engagement with medical divisions (ESD & TSD) and Business units (e.g., GI, URO, SD, ENT etc.) including SBP planning process and Procurement updates at division ExCom.
• Lead, coordinate and administer Global Procurement meetings
• Support the formulation and management of Procurement Organizational structure

Education*:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/ or training is preferred

Experience*:

• 5+ years’ work experience in Procurement driving strategy, and risk management across Organization.
• Experience with MedTech/ related industries and/ or leading consulting companies is preferred.
• • Proven know-how about industrial trends and latest thinking in SC resilience and risk management, ESG requirements, applied experience in implementing innovative solutions is preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management and confident in presenting to C-level audiences (English, Japanese a plus), excellent levels of spoken and written English is required.
• Strong facilitation, consultation and convening skills and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholder
• • Self-motivated, open minded and change affine and ability to lead and empower cross-functional (virtual) teams
