Senior Legal Counsel

What we look for:

• Advise various internal departments in contract-, labor-, data protection laws and PR measures
• Advise OMMAX on specific German employment or corporate law matters or disputes
• Act as primary lead for inter-company arrangements such as service contracts, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
• Continuous monitoring and optimization of our conditions and liabilities
• Provide proactive advice to Management and internal departments with regards to new German laws or regulations that may impact the business
• Creation and execution of legal trainings for OMMAX team members
• Improve existing legal processes at OMMAX and ensure implementation of guidelines and policies 

What we require:

• Law or business law degree with excellent academic records
• At least 3 years of experience as legal counsel with business focus
• Excellent knowledge of data protection (GDPR), German labor law, social law and labor protection law
• Affinity for IT as well as finding innovation-oriented solutions between data protection and digitalization
• Strong proficiency in conducting legal research, gathering and compiling information, drafting commercial contracts and preparing legal communications
• Strong sense of ownership and drive to push complex legal matters forward
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, including the ability to evaluate and develop solutions to complex business problems
• Fluent in German & English
