YOUR TEAM

Our department Product and Portfolio Management is responsible for managing all of CARIAD's products over their lifetime. The division “Partner Management” is responsible for CARIAD’s partner strategy focusing on two big pillars, the ADAS/AD platform and in-cabin experience. We act as entrepreneurs and business owners to secure state of the art customer functions, competitiveness and profitability.

As a newly founded team, we are looking for team members who have extensive knowledge in managing strategic partnerships in the automotive and software industry. Preferably, we are looking for team members in Ingolstadt/Munich (Germany) or San Jose (USA).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Identify and negotiate critical partnerships to build a vertically, optimized ADAS/AD and in-cabin technology stack
• Manage relations with key partners on professional and executive level
• Adept at working cross functionally with a variety of partners mainly with our product team to drive product partnerships
• Clearly and concisely create (decision) proposals in alignment with internal stakeholders for senior and top-level executives
• Contribute to the development of new tools and methods for our partnership management
• Support the consolidation of various ADAS/AD technologies across VW Group (e.g. Mobility as a service (MaaS), Technology as a service (TaaS), passenger segment) and regions (e.g. China)

WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed studies, an advanced degree is preferred (PhD, MBA, JD); technical and consulting backgrounds are a plus coupled with, ideally, 6-8 years of professional experience
• Strong analytical skills to structure partnerships models and manage technical, contractual, and financial issues
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate new concepts and business models to cross-functional teams, and CARIAD executives
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as solution-oriented mindset; and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Experience in partner relations and project management within the software or automotive area is highly beneficial
• Fluency in English, German desirable; other languages are welcome
