Your responsibilities
- Pair as Finance Business Partner with the function leads of EMEA Corporate and Medical Functions (such as IT, HR, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Commercial Development etc.)
- Support/validate the monthly closing, reporting, budget and forecast processes
- Own the operational governance / business review process and data interpretation (“backwards and forwards”). Explain on a monthly basis the cost evolution with analysis of current financial trends, month and YTD performance, rest of year forecast and risks/opportunities. Provide and support in long/mid-term forecasting. Raise operational and commercial proposals to remediate any gaps to target.
- Facilitate the EMEA Annual Planning process by supporting, influencing and challenging the submissions of the Business Functions
- Own the planning of the functional cost centers in the EMEA headquarter
- Support projects of the respective functions in charge and support the creation and recalculation of Business Cases
- Single point of contact and key interface for function counterparts with respect to finance topics
- Interface, key player and driver of reporting and analytical needs towards the Data Science and Advanced Analytics team
Your qualification
- University degree or equivalent qualification in the area of finance or economics
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in Finance
- Previous Finance Business Partnering experience (desired)
- In-depth knowledge of financial business modeling, forecasting and analytics for decision support
- Good Experience in using SAP and data visualization tools
- Ability to apply analytical skills and strategic thinking to business strategy definition well above and beyond financial figures
- Ability to manage stakeholders in a high-complexity environment
- Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics
- Financial acumen: Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions
- Balances stakeholders: Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Action oriented: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
