For our global eDevelopment at our location in Ulm we are looking for a master graduate.
We are now hiring specialists for our new Center of Digitization in Science Park Ulm.
The title of the masterthesis "contrast of web application architecture: reactive vs classic servlet based"
must be defined in detail with the graduate.

Tasks

• create a spring web-application based on the classical servlet based stack via
• Spring-webmvc and Tomcat
• create another spring web-application based on the modern reactive stack via
• Spring-webflux and Netty
• implement different kind of tests for the reactive application
• connect the classic application to a relational database like PostgreSQL
• connect the modern application to a NoSQL database like Cassandra or MongoDb
• create a benchmark study
• enjoy working with agile practices

Qualifications

• Study in Computer Science
• Basics in Java development (Java 11)
• Experiences in unit testing
• First steps in database technologies (SQL DB, NoSQL DB)+
• Version control (GIT)
• Knowledge with Spring framework is a plus
• Ability to speak, understand and write German and English fluently
