Our client is a global tech company focusing on digital transformation entering the German market.
As part of their rapid growth they are searching for a Business Development Manager DE (f/m/d).
Location: Dresden (flexible with remote work)
Contract type: permanent employment
 

Responsibilities:
  • Cooperation with the sales leadership in the identification and qualification of customers for the innovation program
  • Development of value propositions/business cases
  • Help develop and improve the digital innovation engagement model based on engagement experience
  • Working with the partner team in identifying, engaging and empowering partners to accelerate our path to digital innovation
  • Execution of the strategic company development plan in cooperation with internal key stakeholders (e.g. sales, service, legal, customer care department, etc.).
  • Objective handling of contradictions, management of planned options and effective negotiations
  • Establishing effective business relationships with assigned customers by understanding their organization, developing business relationships with senior management, identifying key players in decisions and understanding their business, strategy and directions
  • Initiative in response to changes within the organization or market
  • Reporting of any information about competition or market trends, as well as new product developments from appropriate sources through standardized report formats
  • Keeping skills and knowledge up to date in all areas (technical and commercial)
 

Skills:
  • Experience with IoT products are a big plus
  • Experience in business development, sales, consulting, product management or IT solutions development
  • Project multitasking and portfolio management - prioritization of work, planning, collaboration and management
  • Experience and mind-set for maximum operational performance. Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional social skills and communication skills
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the corporate market.
  • Strong business and financial acumen as well as negotiating skills
  • Experience in customer contact with digital innovation or a similar advisory / sales role
