Ihr Job
Zumtobel Group are currently recruiting for a Commercial Director Lighting Brands Germany. In this challenging role you will be responsible for all formal legal tasks of the commercial management and will lead your decentralized team (Controlling, Processes/Backoffice, Customer Care) confidently and in accordance with the internally applicable values of the Group. As sparring partner for the Managing Director Lighting Brands Germany and for the members of the German management circle, the role holder acts at eye level. He/she is the link to the central services at the global headquarters as well as to local shared service departments, e.g. Finance & Accounting. The position has procuration and is signed by the Managing Director in accordance with the principle of dual control.

Your remit will include but not limited to:
  • Overall responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities within the region in coordination with the Group
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in cooperation with the group's internal interfaces in compliance with legal and group requirements
  • Sales and margin evaluations and ad-hoc analyses of key figures as a basis for decision-making, e.g. investments and business cases
  • Ensuring efficient process management and the relevant back office processes including coordination of disposal obligations
  • Further development of the responsible areas as well as participation and initiation of national and international projects
  • Ensuring compliance with local tax and legal laws as well as internal Group requirements
  • Management and further development of the subordinated teams according to the internal guidelines
Ihr Profil
  • Degree in business administration with focus on finance / controlling
  • Extensive relevant professional experience in controlling & accounting as well as commercial management in a corporate environment; extensive project experience is an advantage
  • Experience in an international and multicultural environment as well as in project business is an advantage
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking, as well as the ability to pursue strategic goals in a very practical and networked way with the business
  • Accepted senior leader with focus on strategy, people and culture, used on a very high level to manage changes, reorganizations and to install new business set ups
  • Great interest and understanding for the business as well as the ability to penetrate and question business processes as a business partner
  • Excellent leadership qualities, experience in leading decentralized teams advantageous
  • Absolute business-fluent in the English and German language with advanced presentation skills
  • Very good MS Office, SAP R3, SAP BW and CRM knowledge
  • Enthusiastic, proactive person who knows how to convince with hands-on mentality and high social competence and who builds up an internal network as a team player
  • Leader who is a role model and breaks new ground through his own actions (structured working methods, high resilience, strong communication skills, team orientation)
  • Willingness to travel, approx. 30%
