A position has recently become available for a Compliance manager at a market leading American insurer. This is an opportunity for candidates to join a dynamic, multifaceted team, operating in a forward-thinking and fast-paced environment.

You will ensure the organisation's compliance with both international and EU law, while leveraging Group Minimum Standards within the insurance compliance sector. The ideal candidate will also draft, implement, monitor and update insurance compliance-related guidelines.

The position would require you to relocate to Hamburg, where you will become part of an agile and dedicated team of skilled advisors, dealing with the complexities and ever-evolving challenges of compliance within an Insurance specific context.

Responsibilities - Insurance Compliance

• Strong understanding of insurance
• Experience within the compliance auspice
• Ensuring budget transparency
• meticulous record-taking
• Drafting legislation and company policy; working closely with the legal department

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in either law, economics, or other similar social sciences
• Similar experience in related industries / in dealing with legal governance related matters
• Risk management experience would be a strong asset
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Fluent English and German, both written and spoken to a C1 minimum standard. Other languages would also be useful
