URPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As part of the Product & Innovations board area within SAP we are focusing on the definition and delivery of the most innovative enterprise management solution for the cloud SAP S/4HANA. We support our customers’ transition to a digital economy and implementation of intelligent processes through the end to end business scenarios founded on best practices of best-run businesses.

In the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Product Management and Co-Innovation unit, our team is responsible for the product management in the areas of Operations Management Functions (Sales and Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project Based Services in Professional Services, Research & Development …).

We are executing in a cross-functional team on the delivery of content in SAP S/4HANA for ready-to-run business processes. We ensure that customers can consume the functionality as part of well-defined business process in simple and fast way with minimal implementation efforts. We work with a larger network within SAP to deliver a consistent experience of the solution along the full value chain of innovation to market. We collaborate with partners and customers improving our best practices and engaging in co-innovations.

While we are working with a larger global team, the primary location of the Operations Management Functions team is Germany (Walldorf, St. Ingbert). Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model. If you need to work flexibly from another location or at another time you can do so given your manager’s agreement.

We offer a variety of trainings virtual, classroom and on the job individualized to the need depending on the experience of the employee.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a working student joining our product management team focusing on Operations Management Functions (Supply Chain, Sales, Professional Services, Research & Development and Manufacturing).

You will support the team in the definition, delivery and success of a ready-to-consume solution. In this role you help defining use cases and a clear scope, based on real life best practices adopted by customers. You support the team in collaboration with the development organization to identify the right scope supporting innovations is a significant part of the daily work.

You will support the creation of specification; business process flows and other assets defining the scope for SAP S/4HANA
You will help managing the product backlog based on market and customer feedback
You will support the team in the maintenance of tools necessary for the delivery of the product
You will support the processing of customer requests
You will help organizing workshops
You will test the solution and provide feedback to the product development
You will have the opportunity to work in an extended cross-functional team including product owners, configuration experts, consultants and developers to deliver SAP S/4HANA in the cloud.

You will get deep insights into customer implementations and prospects and evaluate requirements for the development roadmap.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Engineering, Economics/ Business Administration, Science or Information Technology or comparable field
Computer skills: Proficient user of MS Office
Language skills: Ability to communicate in English, German preferred
Strong analytical skills
Self starter with passion to be a hands-on expert in the required filed
Willingness to embrace new topics and technology
Team player with strong communication skills
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
