YOUR TEAM

Implement new services for the Volkswagen Group digital ecosystem. Create exciting new mobile apps, develop intelligent mobility services to connect customers with their vehicles, and work on complex data streams to create new journeys through a fast-growing family of mobility services. Be part of the future of mobility and of an international agile team throughout all phases of the software lifecycle!

We are looking for experienced leaders to help us professionalize our DevOps capabilities over all products in our Digital Business & Mobility Services solution and to take our staff into the future.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead the competence center for operations & support consisting of ~30 highly skilled site reliability engineers, operations specialists and customer support specialists
  • Take over responsibility for operations & support for multiple SAFe large solutions, continuous improvement of lean operations processes with a DevOps mindset as well as relevant performance indicators
  • Recruit, coach and develop employees on their individual career paths and assure competent staffing over all levels of our SAFe-organization with both internal and external resources
  • Continuously improve processes, methods and tools for the competence center and help to bring forward the relevant professions in CARIAD
  • Work closely together with peers in other competence centers, in our SAFe-organization and other parts of CARIAD to solve any impediments and to assure we have the best possible setup to operate our current and future solutions
  • Work closely together with internal and external partners to complement internal staff and to develop and grow partnerships
  • Foster agile leadership in our organization and act as a role-model for your team and others

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree in business, computer science, information technology or comparable course
  • Experienced senior manager with 5+ years of experience leading larger teams in a software development environment
  • Previous experience as responsible leader for a support organization in large scale, 24/7 environments
  • Hands-on experience and necessary know-how working in relevant roles of the competence center
  • Deeply ingrained agile mindset and ability to act as a leader and inspire others
  • Familiar with agile approaches like Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering
  • Passion about the tech industry and good understanding of Digital Business and Mobility Services
  • Strong intercultural skills and experience in managing multiple stakeholders worldwide
  • Excellent English and German communication skills
