In-House Data Engineer (m,w,x) – Cologne, Germany 

 

My client is a large end user in the insurance space on the German market, with a large number of offices that supports policy holders across Germany.

 
Candidates tasks

• Participate in the transfer of the current BI landscape to the cloud
• Design, build and maintain the BI data management and analysis (platform based on AWS)
• ETL processes and data modelling and development
• Analysis of requirements and implementation concepts development
• Data science and AI projects input
• BI system landscapes work
• Liaise and support peers in the architecture, frontend and test areas

 
Candidates requirements

• SQL experience
• Programming languages (Scala, Java, Python)
• AWS Cloud hands-on experience
• B-relevant services
• Agile (SCRUM)
• Knowledge of key businesses and data structures in the insurance area (desirable)
• Excellent command of German and English language (must)
• You live for the news and challenges in the BI world and are eager to keep up to date
