The Sales Controlling Leader (m/f/d) acts as a channel finance manager with a focus on Grocery and is responsible for performance analysis and providing insights to senior stakeholder and supports strong decision making to drive profitable growth. This position in based in Unterhaching (Munich, Germany).
What would be your key responsibilities?
Works in close cooperation with the FP&A Director on the financial planning in the organization and thus supports the long-term orientation and the financial goal setting process for the German unitProactively recognizes and analyses - thus identifies challenges and opportunities at an early stage and makes recommendations for future measures. Initiates, manages and manages projects independently to improve current company results and achieve strategic goals
Analysis of sales and profit development per customer, clear, precise and timely analysis of the channel performance in order to create insights for the business and to identify trends at an early stage.
Supports better business unit understanding through performance analysis and supports decision-making through the Development of business cases and the assessment of potential risks and opportunities to achieve the financial goals set.
Drives the digital agenda at Mars that enables a more customer-centric, data driven environment
What are we looking for?
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Finance, Business or similar5+ years of experience in Finance experience, preferably in similar roles
Strong fundaments in Finance Business Partnering, Experience in Strategic Revenue Management is a plus
Good business understanding, ideally experience in FMCG
High learning agility and entrepreneurial mindset, with high ability to cope with ambiguity
Strong communication skills (from analysis to synthesis)
Experience in using ERP systems, Experience with Tableau/ Power BI is a plus
Excellent oral and written skills in English & German
