Amazon Global Store allows customers to buy products from other marketplaces, on their local site, in their local currency and shopping experience. This is an Amazon cross-marketplace initiative that allows selection from one marketplace to list on another marketplace.

Amazon purchased Joyo.com in August 2004 and launched Amazon.cn or Z.cn. For the past 14 years, Amazon.cn has been offering customers in China authentic and quality products across 30 different categories online, and providing convenience and value. Since late 2014, we also launched Amazon Global Store, offering more than 10 million international selection direct from US, Europe, and Japan, we have become a leading player in China offering premium international brand selections through multiple channels. Since then the Global Store business has been expanded to additional destinations worldwide.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative Sr. Business Development Manager (m/f) who will accelerate our business growth out of Germany into China.

Please be aware this is a part time role only

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities for China out of Germany
• Negotiate with new brands and onboard them to Global Store
• Source great deals targeted at our Chinese Customers
• Ensure sharp prices for our Chinese Customers

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

• University degree required, ideally in a technical or analytical discipline
• Multiple years of significant experience gained in a business or technical role, or consulting
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
• Strong communicator, levering priorities across stakeholders
• Fluency in English and German and demonstrated strong English-language writing skills
• Experience in business intelligence tools, management reporting is a must
• Results oriented, effectively prioritizing and multitasking, able to work with tight deadlines
• Able to balance long term thinking and bias for action
• Profound knowledge in Excel
• Great attention to detail
