Located in the heart of Berlin, BASF Services Europe brings together an international team of around 2,000 colleagues, with over 50 different nationalities, working in our Finance, Controlling, HR and Procurement departments. The performance and expertise of over 200 of our BASF companies in the whole of Europe are collected together in our BASF Shared Service Centre.

What you can expect

Within our Personnel Administration Europe unit, you will work with us to support the employees of the European BASF Group companies with regard to various administrative personnel matters.

• You will create HR documents such as jubilee letters and employment certificates and upload documents to the electronic personnel file.
• You will maintain the time registration of employees of the Belgium BASF Group companies.
• You will process and support employees with specific time related inquiries in close coordination with the relevant local HR departments.
• In the process, you will observe the BASF guidelines and the provisions of collective agreements and applicable laws and regulations.
• You will ensure the current documentation and further development of the HR knowledge base by actively contributing to the intensive sharing of information and experiences within the team.

What we expect

• You speak Dutch fluently in addition to a good understanding of either English or German.
• You have successfully completed your vocational training in HR, business or a similar field.
• First work experience in personnel administration is a plus, but is certainly not required.
• You keep a level head even in difficult situations and deal with customers with poise and confidence and with the necessary level of friendliness and commitment to providing services.
