Working Time: 100% (39 hrs/wk), from 01.11.2022 limited to 30.09.2024
Your tasks:
- Leading collaborative projects or synthesis workshops involving the global experimental networks Nutrient Network (
- Synthesising regional, especially European, biodiversity data and experimental responses
- Impacts of nutrient pollution on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning
- Theory and mechanisms of coexistence
- Application of new sensor technologies
Your profile:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- PhD degree in community ecology or equivalent field with a strong background in theoretical and/or experimental biodiversity research
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, basic knowledge of German language desirable or commitment to learn
- Ability to travel and do field work (including a driving license valid in Europe)
- Team player, high motivation for interdisciplinary and international scientific cooperation
- Ability to prepare high-impact manuscripts for international journals independently
