ABOUT THE TEAM

As part of SAP’s Global Controlling Organization in the Board Area of Global Finance and Administration (GFA), our team supports the Office of the CEO / Intelligent Enterprise Group in all financially relevant questions, challenges and tasks:

Budget planning, forecasting and closing
Financial reporting & analytics and decision support
Governance, compliance & financial steering

THE ROLE

During the internship, you will be guaranteed to gain deep insight into a state-of-the-art controlling department by supporting:
Analysis and reporting for business units and cross topics on numerous accounts and dimensions
Analysis and support for strategic and operations steering, such as investigating financial investments and de-investment decisions
preparation of (periodic) business reviews, topic- and ad-hoc related reporting
Master data maintenance of our and compliance to the given controlling structures
Ad-hoc tasks and special projects
The duration of the internship should be at least four to six months.
After a successful completion, a working student / thesis extension might be offered.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Studying preferably in the fields: Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field of study, preferably with focus on Finance/Controlling
Having the following computer skills: strong MS-Office Skills (esp. Excel and Power Point); first experience in Controlling with SAP CO/FI is desirable

Speaking: English fluently both written and spoken, German at least B1
Personal skills: very high degree of own initiative and willingness to learn; strong ability for teamwork, distinct analytical thinking and accurate working attitude

First practical experiences in a Controlling/Finance related function is a plus
