Our client is an international operating Service company. For their location in Berlin we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Software Development (m/w/d) for an unlimited permanent position.

Your key tasks:
- You will lead programmes, projects and other project like initiatives in the area of Software Development:
You will lead cross-functional project-teams (incl. resource management, prioritization of tasks, etc.) to ensure that goals are effectively achieved
You will manage external parties (e.g. a solution partner)
You will manage all resources in your project to achieve optimal results as well as provide detailed forecasts to support resource-pools and other functions like finance
You will provide detailed status reporting to various stakeholder groups
You will manage different in- and external stakeholders and build up stakeholder relationships
You will ensure a hands-on and solution oriented mindset of the team and take care for continuously improvements
- You will work closely with PMO to continously improve the Project Managment standards and processes
- You will ensure, that project management standards are followed, by taking the responsibility to manage and optimize the agreed project processes, showing transparency within the project and towards all relevant stakeholders
- You will support the management of the project portfolio by providing reliable planning and forecast
- You will support the portfolio manager in estimating project ideas and assessing the impact of decisions on a portfolio level
Your Profile:
- Minimum about seven years proven professional experience in successful management and/or development of large software development programmes and projects, partly in an agile environment combined with respective certifications (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, SCRUM)
- Ideally experience with big data and cloud based architecture Experience in managing big project teams across multiple locations including external suppliers
- Profoud knowledge of a wide range of project management methodologies and tools
- Cost awareness and budget ownership experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills on all levels of an organisation with proven experience of working in a highly complex and political environment
- Proven judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in an environment where priorities and tasks may change quickly
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS Project and MS Powerpoint)
- Fluent English language skills, written and spoken
