AWI focuses on polar and marine research in a variety of disciplines such as biology, oceanography, geology, geochemistry and geophysics thus allowing multidisciplinary approaches to scientific goals.
Post Doc in "marine chronobiology Calanus" (m/f/d)
Background
The group focusses on chronobiological processes in marine animals. The main expertise is the establishment of functional genetic tools, as well as various molecular biological analyses tools (e.g. antibody staining, HCR ISH etc) for marine animals. The focus for this position will be to extend this into the model system Calanus finmarchicus in close collaboration with the group of Bettina Meyer.Tasks

- Establishment of microinjection into C.finmarchicus fertilized eggs (and subsequent steps towards functional genetic tool establishment).
