Research Assistant (Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft)

The position is envisioned to start as soon as possible with up to 19 hours per week and an initial duration of 12 months. Duty station is at iDiv, Leipzig.

Your tasks:

• Support with preparation and collection of demographic data at the Global Change Experimental Facility (GCEF) in Bad Lauchstädt (50%)
• Data entry and data processing of 2020 data (25%)
• Supporting tasks for working group SIE in accordance with skills and interests (25%)

Your profile:

• Experience in ecology, knowledge of botany is an asset
• Good command of spreadsheet software and data organization
• Good organizational skills and experience with working independently
• Field work experience is an asset
• Good command of English
• Driving licence (category B) is an asset
