Email Marketing Specialist (f/m/d)

As an Email Marketing Specialist in Cologne, you will assist the Digital Marketing Services team and will support the day-to-day operation of the cleverbridge Email Marketing program including the following tasks:

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the point-of-contact for assigned client accounts by building upon relationships, setting expectations and continually defining strategies for growth of their Email marketing program.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including the set-up, scheduling, and deployment of one-time, recurring, and triggered campaigns
• Liaise with other team members and internal stakeholders to meet the objectives and strategy of our email campaigns
• Work together with our Account Management and Sales team on prospects, and up/cross-selling existing clients our services
• Optimize and develop customer lifecycles with a focus on driving new customer acquisition and retention cycles as well as delivering personalized experiences
• Analyze performance of email marketing campaigns to provide actionable insights and improvements for future development
• Troubleshoot email rendering issues and other performance issues to ensure accurate rendering across all major email clients
• Research and recommend new opportunities for email through new technologies
• Travel up to 5-10%

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor degree preferably in Digital Marketing, Business Studies, or Advertising, alternatively 3+ years working experience in relevant industry (e.g. ecommerce, internet-based companies, digital agency) or function (e.g. marketing, affiliate marketing, SEO)
• Knowledge of e-commerce and Internet-based business models
• Detail oriented, curious, and loves learning through experimentation
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders within the organization and client facing
• Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and projects within time constraints and tight deadlines
• Have a passion for Digital Marketing and understand how marketing channels interact with email marketing
• Fluent knowledge of English and German, both spoken and written, additional language is a plus
