Your responsibilities
- As Junior Product Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for the management of the product lifecycle for imaging devices for surgery, especially near-infrared visualisation
- You identify customer needs and challenges for existing and future products
- You conduct business analyses for new product introductions and develop strategic plans for the introduction and promotion of new products
- Furthermore, you establish links and relationships with customers and key clinicians on a European level needed to trial and develop new products, involve in peer-to-peer activities and other marketing related activities
- You liaise with R&D departmens to ensure that customer needs are correctly identified, communicated and met
- Moreover, you manage and oversee projects ensuring maximum effectiveness and efficiency and launch products to the subsidiaries
- You conduct market acceptance studies where applicable
- You produce training materials and directly support the Olympus training department in developing training materials
- In addition, you train representatives both in a formal training setting and in-field
- You support customer initiatives on clinical trials and evaluation involving Olympus products, initiate trials and manage trails in order to establish benefits, efficacy and safety
Your qualification
- You have successfully completed a course of studies in Industrial or Medical Engineering or Economics
- You have some initial professional experience in interacting with clinician and other healthcare professionals
- You have excellent communication skills and command of German and English – both written and spoken
- Additional language skills are a plus
- Your strengths include good analytical skills and a commercial mindset
- You have a confident manner and are able to win people over with quick-witted arguments
- You are able to manage a demanding work load and enjoy working independently, are reliable, and have a strong sense of responsibility
- Contributing to success as part of a team motivates you
- You enjoy traveling up to 30% and are willing to move to Hamburg
