to the earliest possible date.The contract for the position is limited to a maximum of 18 months. The weekly working hours for a 25% position are 9,875 hours

Remuneration will be in accordance with German public sector pay scales and can, dependent on individual skills and assignment of tasks, be up to pay group 13 TV‑L. The position is located at our Schwenningen campus.
Your tasks will include:
- Planning of studies (design, sample size)
- Data Management
- Application of modern statistical and machine learning procedures to various kinds of data
- Project management, contribution to research and publications
- Supervision of bachelor and master students
We are looking for:
A completed university degree (master or „Diplom“) in statistics/mathematics, computer science or biomedical sciences with experience in applying statistical methods and especially machine learning procedures as well as programming experience in the statistical software R and/or Python. Solid knowledge of the English language is required. We also assume that a successful candidate will have an active interest in continued further qualification and life-long learning.We offer:
