Your responsibilities

• In your role as "Service Product Engineer" (m/f/d), you coordinate all service-related launch activities for new products (incl. the development and introduction of jigs, tools and machines, the definition of repair levels and the validation of repair procedures)
• Your tasks also include the life cycle management (e.g. the steering of new product launches into the EMEA in-house service)
• You are responsible for analyzing the repair costs and drive initiatives to reduce them by re-using and refurbishment of spare parts as well as by the extension of reparability
• You retrieve the workshop operation requirements and requests and develop and introduce equipment for repair and inspection process support as well as for automation
• Furthermore, you provide training, relevant documentation and ensure serviceability (if required)
• You introduce equipment developed by the manufacturer to the EMEA workshops and define and distribute maintenance and a calibration framework for these

Your qualification

• You have successfully completed a course of studies in Medical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• You have several years of professional experience in a Service Support or Engineering role
• You have excellent communication skills and command of English and German – both written and spoken
• Your strengths include good analytical skills, systematic thinking and a commercial mindset
• You have a goal-oriented and assertive approach
• You enjoy working independently, are reliable, and have a strong sense of responsibility
• Contributing to success as part of a team motivates you
