Project Manager - Frankfurt - 12 Months

An global Pharmaceutical client of mine is currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in the veterinary/animal health industry to join them on a contract basis at their site near Frankfurt for 12 months. This role will involve some remote working also.

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Initiate the project charter with description of the project team, the scope, the deliverables and the depending milestones and execute a project kick-off meetings 
• Identify all actions that are key to success 
• Align cross functional processes and optimize realistic timelines 
• Manage project constraints (time, scope, budget, quality) and dependencies in line with project requirements 
• Implement appropriate mitigation/corrective actions. 
• Liaise with Launch Lead and Launch Co-Sponsors to report progress regarding the current status of the project in chronological interval of 14 days, obtain decisions or report risks. 
• Manage project issues, advising they are assigned and addressed appropriately, and escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the Core Team to the Launch Lead or ultimately to the Launch Co-Sponsors 
• Manage stakeholders and conflicts, and communicate project status, milestones, and unexpected difficulties/issues effectively by presenting resolving strategies 
• Manage and forecast project costs and investments

 

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years experience in multiple disciplines: Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing and Supply Chain.
• Proven ability to gain quick understanding of complex processed and to identify solutions to overcome barriers
• Track record in leading complex projects across different channels/countries
• Project management and negotiation skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to deal with complexity of multifunctional teams in different markets
• Demonstrated analytical and executive presentation skills (Excel, PPT essential)
• Experience in Customer Health Care/Pet Health Care or similar department in different business
