Content Engagement Project Manager (f/m/d)

For our client, an exciting international company focussing on location technology, we are currently hiring a Content Engagement Project Manager (f/m/d).

 

Your Role:
You will be responsible for the content development, execution, and engagement on our client’s main communication and product discovery portal. You will be reporting to the Digital Content Lead and will be coordinating the activity for content development of writers, designers and other external contributors. As an experienced project manager working with agile principles, you will be motivated to deliver a broad range of creative assets collaboratively in tight timelines. Combined with a copywriting and editorial background, you will drive the transformation of the portal towards customer centric content to deliver stronger user engagement on site.

 

Your Tasks:
Take ownership of our website content and support the implementation of the content strategy on our portals.
Create customer-centric content that clearly conveys our value proposition, inspires trust and drivers higher user engagement.
Turn around briefs on tight timelines and handle parallel priorities.
Drive the development and oversee the production of new content assets, including new product pages, images, demonstration videos, icons and more.
Integrate customer and partner stories into content when relevant – taking a customer-first approach.
Act as a brand guardian across content - ensuring consistent tone of voice and style in line with brand guidelines.
Focus on continuous improvement by iterating and optimizing existing and new content.
Ensure that the content is prepared in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
Monitor and report on digital metrics.
Project manage all web content updates with stakeholders and content contributors
Plan and approve assignments for writers and designers
Control schedules and enforce deadlines for all stakeholders
Oversee proofreading procedures and edit copy when necessary
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on content engagement KPIs
Resolve issues as they arise
 

Your Skills:
Skills in data-driven decision making and an aim to foster growth and continually optimize and improve content assets and engagement
Passionate about storytelling and customer centricity with experience as a copywriter or in an editorial role
Experience working in a startup or as the lead content strategist for a nascent product
Significant experience with content marketing writing and basic understanding of SEO (more advanced knowledge of SEO is a plus)
Experience and enthusiasm to work in a matrixed environment managing multiple stakeholders for collaborative content development
Working knowledge of content management systems like Drupal
Hands on experience with project management software, like Workfront
Strong abilities in agile project management and coordinating people and operations
Outstanding communication and people abilities
Reliability and efficiency
Attention to detail
Fluent English (written and spoken), native level
