We are looking for a student (m/f/diverse), who is interested in an internship for 6 months starting immediately at our location in Ulm.

Following project-topics are free to choose from:

• Adaptive brightness correction
• Image quality – Adaptive Aliasing Filters
• Adaptive camera blending
• Adaptive 3D-structure adjustment
• Parking Visualization
• Tool and Test automation
• Dataset automation

Tasks within the selected project:

• Integration and investigation of Computer-Vision and Image Processing Algorithms on existing ARM/GPU platform
• Analysis and comparison of simulation results
• Support for driving tests
• Camera calibration
• Presentation of measurements and simulation results
• Student (m/f/diverse) electrical engineering, computer science or similar study programs
• Practical skills in Python, C / C + +, Matlab, Linux (OpenGL / ES)
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in image and video signal processing / computer graphics
• Strong interest in embedded solutions for real-time image and video signal processing
• Good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
• Goal-oriented method of operation, good team player and flexibility

The Autonomous Mobility and Safety Business Area integrates safety technologies and controls vehicle dynamics to ensure safe and comfortable driving. The objective is to implement "Vision Zero", the vision of accident-free driving. Autonomous Mobility and Safety's components and system capabilities are prerequisites for autonomous mobility.
