Role and Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the preparation of ecotoxicological risk assessments for the authorisation of plant protection products (PPP) according to European regulatory requirements
  • You will be responsible for the development of risk assessment strategies on a Member State level, including higher Tier solutions
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of technical dossier sections for regulatory purposes according to relevant EU and Member State guidance
  • You will be responsible for the evaluation of ecotoxicological data and study reports
  • You will be responsible for the management and coordination of client projects in close communication and cooperation with our regulatory team, our clients and relevant authorities
  • You will participate at seminars, workshops and scientific conferences to maintain up-to-date knowledge in the area of regulatory ecotoxicology

Profile and Qualifications

  • You have a university degree in biology, agricultural or environmental science or equivalent; PhD degree would be a benefit
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in ecotoxicological risk assessment for registration of plant protection products according to European standards
  • You have extensive knowledge of EU Regulatory Framework 1107/2009
  • Experience with study management would be a benefit
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have strong project and time management skills
  • You have excellent language skills in English (spoken and written); German would be an asset
  • You are self-motivated and capable of functioning as an independent scientist while being able to work effectively in a team environment
