Project Manager / Project Co-ordinator - German speaking
EUR50000 - EUR60000 per annum + Negotiable salary plus benefits
THE ROLE
I am seeking an Intermediate Project Manager or Project Co-ordinator in the Building Construction industry who has good or fluent German to join a firm of construction consultants in their Berlin office.
You may also get involved in projects in Poland as they are expanding in Europe.
You will work on projects from feasibility to project delivery and you will deal with international clients through to contractors on site. You will also get involved in doing Technical Due Diligence.
Projects will include logistics centres, office fit out for a variety of corporate clients.
THE COMPANY
My client is a large firm of construction consultants working closely with large clients on buildings for offices, complex warehousing and more.
They are a British firm by background with two offices in Germany and expanding across Europe and the Far East.
They work on projects across Germany and sometimes in other European countries working closely with a number of international clients.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Graduate with a Degree in a construction related subject e.g. Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering etc.
You will need to have gained several years post graduation experience in a building construction related role and have gained some project management or project co-ordination experience.
You will ideally have been working for another firm of building construction consultants to have gained project management experience from feasibility to delivery.
Any experience of Technical Due Diligence would be useful although not essential.
You will need fluent or very good written and spoken German. Good English is also preferred to deal with international clients.
As my client is now getting involved with projects in Poland anyone with some Polish language skills would also be welcomed (although this is not essential).
Good communication skills are essential.
Support will be given if you are not already chartered.
Excellent prospects for ambitious candidates within their Berlin office and an opportunity for promotion as my client is growing. Salary is negotiable according to experience but in the region of Euro 50000 to 60000 plus other benefits.
