PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Cloud Platform Enablement team is a group within the Intelligent Enterprise organization that works on innovative products that are built on SAP Cloud Platform using infrastructure of AWS and other hyperscalers. Our applications are powered by machine learning and technologies that allow us to implement cloud qualities such as elastic scaling and dealing with the eventual failure of components and services. Based on our experience and fast user feedback, we enable our partners and customers to innovate in the cloud and integrate seamlessly with SAP’s products.

Your mission is to build and expand the SAP Cloud SDK that enables SAP’s customers and partners to develop cloud-native applications and realize their own application ideas more quickly and using technologies they admire with ready-made build pipelines and toolkits for continuous delivery.

Within our team, you will have the chance to use and learn about state-of-the-art cloud technologies like Cloud Foundry and Docker, as well as programming languages like Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Independent of whether you fancy Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript, you will be able to apply and extend your knowledge to build the best possible developer experience for users of the SAP Cloud SDK.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Help our team to build and expand the SAP Cloud SDK either for Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Be passionate about learning and adopting new cloud technologies

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required
Enrolled in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of either Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Knowledge of versioning control systems, like Git
Good team player
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Beneficial, but not required
Basic knowledge of test automation and continuous delivery
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
