Traded power and fuel Portfolio Risk analyst needed to join Dusseldorf Front office Trading Risk team. You will have experience front office Trading for power markets analysing trading strategies working with Quant team develop risk methods.

Base Salary $ 85,000 + Package

• ** Ideal applicant will have Risk Trading asset management / Background in trading etc.. ***

Duties include:

• Manage portfolio market risk: Analyse exposures, synergies, diversification and concentration risk.
• Portfolio risk drivers, and connect them to dynamics and developments of traded power and fuel markets.
• Support front office with analysis on trading & hedging strategies
• Provide quantitative and qualitative descriptions of risk/return potentials.
• scenario analysis and simulation with quant team to develop methods for risk assessment in portfolio.
• Represent managed portfolio to senior stakeholders.
• front to end processes work focus.

Skills needed;

• Risk/asset management or trading within an investment bank or energy trading company.
• Familiar with option theory, stochastic processes, and risk metrics; able to manage interface to quant teams.
• knowledge of European energy markets.
• engage with trading and optimizing teams.
• Strong team player
• Excellent English skills,
