Your responsibilities

  • In your role as an Insurance Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for managing the European Insurance programs and Insurance frame contracts
  • You are responsible for conducting frequent analysis of demand as well as assuring the insurance coverage
  • Your tasks also include the consulting and support of internal departments and European subsidiaries in insurance topics
  • You are responsible for the cost allocation, cost controlling and reporting as well as handling claims in cooperation with our departments and European subsidiaries
  • You manage the relationship and work in close collaboration with an international broker
  • You lead and/or participate in European or global insurance projects
  • As a member of our Strategic Purchasing Team you generally identify opportunities of improvement and manage their execution

Your qualification

  • You have successfully completed a course of studies in business administration or a similar education as an Insurance Manager (m/f/d) with additional professional training and experiences
  • You have a broad insurance knowledge in various lines of insurance
  • You have several years of professional experience in a comparable position in an international company
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint & Excel, completes your profile
  • You can demonstrate excellent conflict, communication, presentation and cooperation skills across all levels of the organization
  • You have excellent communication skills and command of German and English – both written and spoken
  • Contributing to success as part of a team motivates you
  • You have a positive and proactive personality, hands on approach and a solution oriented way of working
