Ihre Aufgaben

Would you like to be the one who has a global overview of the entire Supply chain Network for your categories and is responsible for where we produce a product in the network? In this critical role, you will have global responsibility for analyzing and driving product allocation decisions which will shape the production network for Beiersdorf for coming years. You will work closely with the Innovation teams at one end and Production Centers and Markets at the other end to decide optimal network production / sourcing decisions as well as reallocation decisions across the network. The role involves regular stakeholder management at multiple levels including Supply Chain leadership team members across the globe.

Key Tasks:

Allocation Management:

Prepare global allocation decisions for Production Centers and 3PMs (including make or buy) both within the Integrated Innovation Management process (IIM) and re-allocations outside this process

Footprint projects / Re-allocation management:

Take the lead / collaborate in footprint projects regarding Supply Network concepts (Production Centers / 3PM’s) for relevant categories

IIMs allocation and production/ sourcing decisions:

Global tracking of all IIM projects and related allocation decisions

Center of excellence development:

Development of existing tools/ templates & competencies to prepare allocation decisions and communication protocols
After delivering on the role successfully, one of the potential next steps in our organization can be a position in one of our Management Units located at attractive locations or in a position with regional scope.

Ihr Profil

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management or Engineering
• Several years of experience in working in an operational role in a plant, management unit planning, global / regional engineering function. Good understanding of supply chain finance.
• Experience in solving complex problems and develop options for effective solutions
• Experience of working in cross functional, intercultural and international teams
• Good communication skills combined with flexible communication style to relate to business partners on various levels
• Highly motivated to drive things forward actively
• Anticipatory thinking
• Result driven
• Good know how in SAP ERP and deep know how in MS Office
• Experience in working with databases are an advantage
• Mobility
• High level in English – speaking other languages is an Advantage
