For our client, a global company that provides a portfolio of IT services, software, and technology we are currently looking for a Senior Technical Citrix Engineer (m/w/d) on a permanent basis.

Location: Frankfurt
Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities:
Analyse and evaluate major system project requirements of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters interfacing with the system Review user requirements and provide direction in the identification of the problem and offer potential resolutions

Provide analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of complex, multiple inter-linked systems after evaluating vendor capabilities

Define system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface problems
Formulate logical statements of user requirements and develops solutions through the application of systems and methods of engineering techniques
Perform moderately complex systems modelling, simulation and analysis
Guide the successful completion of major programs in a function similar to a project leadership role
Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations
Provide technical consultation to other project teams and occasional mentoring/leadership for lower-level employees within the assigned program K
 

ey Technical Areas of Expertise:
Bachelor’s degree At least 8-10 years of working experience in Windows and Citrix infrastructure
Demonstrable history of working on Citrix migration projects
Strong hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler including analytical, troubleshooting and application management solutions with an emphasis on Citrix App Layering

Proficient working knowledge of Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Microsoft App-V streaming technologies
Knowledge on PowerShell cmdlet scripting
Management and support experience with MS Windows Server 2012R2 and MS Windows Server 2016
Operating Systems Previous exposure to critical ITIL processes like Major Incident, Change, Problem and Change management
Fluent English language skills; German language skills are beneficial
