Category Manager - IT

We are currently supporting a long term client in Dusseldorf who is in search of a IT Category Manager to over see a large IT transformation project - €150m - Immediate start required!!

Responsibilities:

• Categories responsible for IT, Hardware, Software, etc.
• Assist business when required in the operational supplier relationship management
• Working in close cooperation with senior business leaders from respective business units
• Proactively assisting in leading group sourcing strategy, working across functions, regions to understand and define business requirement

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience purchasing IT, Hardware, Software, etc.
• 5+ years experience within a global organisation
• Excellent Negotiation and People Management skills, with a keen eye for opportunities
• Fluency in English - German language is not required but an asset
